EMS 241 - Paramedic Internship I

(2 credits) Course Description:
Introduces students to live patient assessment and management in the clinical and field setting. Begins a continuum of learning involving live patients that leads to entry-level competence at the paramedic level. Part I of II.6 lab hours. 6 hours per week. 2 credits.

Prerequisite(s): As required by the Virginia Office of EMS for enrollment in an Advanced Life Support program.
