EMS 221 - Paramedic Cardiovascular Care

(3 credits) Covers in-depth assessment and management of cardiovascular conditions, as outlined by the National Emergency Medical Service Education Standards (NEMSES) for Paramedics.

Prerequisite(s): As required by the Virginia Office of EMS for enrollment in an Advanced Life Support (ALS) program.

Corequisite(s): EMS 222 - Paramedic Cardiovascular Care Laboratory (1 credit)
