DNA 103 - Introduction to Oral Health

(1 credit) Teaches anatomy of the head and neck, the oral cavity hard and soft tissues, as well as tooth morphology. Includes dental terminology, deciduous and permanent dentition as well as pathology.

Prerequisite(s): Virginia Dental Assistant License, Admittance into the Dental Assisting Expanded Functions Program. Corequisite(s): DNA 108, DNA 110, DNA 113, DNA 210, DNA 212, DNA 214
