Fundamentals of Organizational Leadership (221-212-13) Career Studies Certificate

Purpose: This certificate focuses on building knowledge and skills typically required to lead high performing work groups Students develop a sharper appreciation of their leadership potential and acquire knowledge and tools needed to balance leadership style to follower characteristics and circumstances in order to be effective.
Educational or Occupational Objectives: Acquire an ability to evaluate oneself and others in order to select the appropriate leadership style necessary to be effective under the circumstances. Collaboration, communication, problem solving, and ethical decision making are emphasized.
Admission Requirements: Departmental Approval.
