PHT 102 - Photography II (3 credits) Teaches principles of photography and fundamental camera techniques. Requires outside shooting and lab work. Introduces principles of photography with outside shooting assignments related to lecture topics. The student needs a camera with an adjustable lens, adjustable shutter speeds, and either a built-in exposure meter or a hand-held meter. Photography students are required to purchase certain basic equipment and materials necessary to achieve professionally-oriented objectives. Most of the equipment is purchased in the first photography class and can be used throughout the two-year program. Each instructor will review expenses during the first class meeting.
Prerequisite(s): PHT 164 .
Lecture: 2 hours Lab: 3 hours Total: 5 hours per week
