HLT 138 - Principles of Nutrition


(2 credits) Studies nutrient components of food, including carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and water. Provides a behavioral approach to nutrient guidelines for the development and maintenance of optimum wellness. This course applies to career/technical education (CTE) programs.

Prerequisite(s): ENG 111   or ENG 111/EDE 11   eligible.
