Precision Machining Advanced Computer Numerical Controls (CNC) Technology (221-883-14) Career Studies Certificate


This programs will prepare students to succeed in a precision machining environment. Students will develop the skills required to begin a career in an advanced precision manufacturing environment.

Students will be exposed to machine tools including conventional lathes and milling machines, CNC milling centers and CNC slant bed lathes.  The student acquire hands on experience through a series of projects.  Students will also learn additional processes associated with machining in a high precision environment. After graduation, students typically seek employment as Maching Specialists, Manufacturing Technicians, or CNC Programmers.
