Fire Science and Emergency Medical Services Leadership (221-427-54) Career Studies Certificate


Purpose: This curriculum prepares students to assume entry level leadership and supervisory roles within fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) departments and/or agencies with an introduction to the current and future leadership roles and responsibilities within the fire and EMS in the field. It is designed to meet the requirements for entry level fire and EMS supervisors (officers) and to provide transferable courses into the associate of Fire science and EMS applied science degree programs where more in-depth knowledge is acquired.
