Electrical Engineering Technology (941) Associate of Applied Science Degree

Purpose: With the rapid growth in the fields of electrical and electronic engineering and communications there is a steady demand for qualified technicians and an ongoing need for trained personnel to meet this demand. The knowledge and skills acquired by graduates in this program provide many pathways for entry-level positions as well as continuing education.
Applied degrees (AAA/AAS) are designed to prepare students for entry into the workforce. Students interested in pursuing transfer options should consult with the Thomas Nelson advisor of this program early in their educational careers.
Articulation Agreement: Students who are interested in transferring to Hunting Ingalls Industries to continue the AAS Electronics Technology plan should meet with Academic Advising early to determine and discuss requirements.
