MTH 116 - Technical Mathematics II

(3 credits) Must be taken in sequence. Students are required to have a graphing calculator for this course. The TI-83 Plus or TI-84 Plus is recommended. Presents algebra through exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometry, vectors, analytic geometry, and complex numbers.

Prerequisite(s): ENF 1  or ENF 2  as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostics tests or equivalent and competency in Math Essentials units 1-6 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostic tests, or by satisfactorily completing the required Math Essentials units or equivalent.

Lecture: 3 hours per week
