IND 145 - Introduction to Metrology (3 credits) Studies principles of measurement and calibration control, application of statistics to measurement processes, and standards of measurements in calibration. May include the use of gauges and instruments in modern production and dimensional control concepts.
Prerequisite(s): ENF 1 or ENF 2 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostics tests or equivalent.
Lecture: 2 hours Lab: 2 hours Total: 4 hours per week
