HLT 230 - Principles of Nutrition and Human Development

(3 credits) Teaches the relationship between nutrition and human development. Emphasizes nutrients, balanced diet, weight control, and the nutritional needs of an individual.

Prerequisite(s): ENF 1 or ENF 2 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostics tests or equivalent.
