HLT 138 - Principles of Nutrition


(2 credits) Studies nutrient components of food, including carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and water. Provides a behavioral approach to nutrient guidelines for the development and maintenance of optimum wellness.

Prerequisite(s): ENF 1  if required by placement and diagnostic tests.

Lecture: 2 hours per week
