DNA 113 - Chairside Assisting I
(3 credits) Provides instruction on the principles of clinical chair side dental assisting, dental equipment use and maintenance, safety, instrument identification, tray set-ups by procedures, and patient data collection. Emphasis on patient management during restorative procedures.
Prerequisite(s): Admittance into the Dental Assisting Program, SDV 100 or SDV 101 , ENG 111 , BIO 145 , BIO 150 , CHM 101 Corequisite(s): DNH 115 , DNH 130 , DNH 216 , DNH 226
