EMS 205 - Advanced Pathophysiology
(4 credits) Focuses on the pathological processes of disease with emphasis on the anatomical and physiological alterations of the human body by systems. Includes diagnosis and management appropriate to the advanced health care provider in and out of the hospital environment. Additional course fee applies.
Prerequisite(s): Current EMT certification, EMS 159 or division permission. Corequisite(s): EMS 209 , EMS 243 and EMS 242 .
Lecture: 4 hours per week
