CHD 118 - Language Arts for Young Children

(3 credits) Emphasizes the early development of children’s language and literacy skills. Presents techniques and methods for supporting all aspects of communication and emergent reading and writing. Addresses equitable and inclusive strategies for intervention and support.

Prerequisite(s): Student must be eligible for ENG 111  or ENG 111 /EDE 11  

Lecture: 2 hours
Lab: 2 hours
Total: 4 hours per week
