CHM 101 - General Chemistry I ♦ (4 credits) Must be taken in sequence. Emphasizes experimental and theoretical aspects of inorganic, organic, and biological chemistry. Discusses general chemistry concepts as they apply to issues within our society and environment. Designed for the non-science major.
Prerequisite(s): ENF 1 or ENF 2 and Algebra I or competency in Math Essentials units 1-5 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostics tests or equivalent.
Lecture: 3 hours Lab: 3 hours Total: 6 hours per week
