NUR 105 - Nursing Skills ♦
(2 credits) Develops nursing skills for the basic needs of individuals and introduces related theory. Includes assessment, personal care, activity/rest, sterile technique, wound care, ostomy care, catheterization, oxygen administration, infection control, suctioning and medication administration. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to Nursing Program. Corequisite(s): NUR 104 , NUR 136 and BIO 142 .
Lab: 6 hours per week
