MTH 180 - Finite Mathematics ♦
(3 credits) Students are required to have a graphing calculator for this course. The TI-83 Plus or TI-84 Plus is recommended. Covers systems of linear equations, matrices, linear programming, counting techniques, probability theory, game theory, and the mathematics of finance.
Prerequisite(s): ENF 1 or ENF 2 and competency in Math Essentials units MTE 1-9 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostic tests, or by satisfactorily completing the required Math Essentials units or by satisfactorily completing the required MTE units or equivalent.
Lecture: 3 hours per week
