MTH 157 - Elementary Statistics ♦
(3 credits) Students are required to have a graphing calculator for this course. The TI-83 Plus or TI-84 Plus is recommended. Presents elementary statistical methods and concepts including descriptive statistics, estimation, hypothesis testing, linear regression, and categorical data analysis.
Prerequisite(s): Qualifying Placement Test score, MTE 1-5 or equivalent.
Credit Awarded: (Credit will not be awarded for both MTH 157 and MTH 240 or MTH 241.) Lecture: 3 hours per week
