HLT 240 - Consumer Health Education ♦ (3 credits) Focuses on health fads, myths, misunderstandings, quackeries, deceptions, and fraudulent health practices. Includes selecting and purchasing health products, services, consumer protections, and in the planning and financing of medical care.
Prerequisite(s): ENF 1 or ENF 2 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostics tests or equivalent.
Lecture: 3 hours per week
