MTE 6 - Exponents, Factoring and Polynomial Equations (1 credit) The student will learn to perform operations on exponential expressions and polynomials. Students will also learn techniques to factor polynomials and use these techniques to solve polynomial equations. Emphasis should be on learning all the different factoring methods, and solving application problems using polynomial equations.
Industry Credential Opportunity: Credit is not applicable toward graduation.
Prerequisite(s): MTE 1 , MTE 2 , MTE 3 , MTE 4 and MTE 5 or qualifying placement score.
