LGL 110 - Introduction to Law and the Legal Assistant ♦

(3 credits) Introduces various areas of law in which a legal assistant will be working. Includes study of the court system (Virginia and federal) as well as a brief overview of criminal law, torts, domestic relations, evidence, ethics, the role of the legal assistant, and other areas of interest.

Prerequisite(s): ENF 1 or ENF 2 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostics tests or equivalent or departmental approval.
