ELE 240 - Advanced Programmable Controllers ♦

(3 credits) Advances further study of Programmable Logic Controllers that were initiated in ELE 239. Students will learn to use more advanced program instructions, including data manipulation, sequences and program control, and advanced PLC features, including timers, counters. Covers connectivity and use of a variety of real world I/O devices.

Prerequisite(s): ELE 239 .

Lecture: 2 hours
Lab: 3 hours
Total: 5 hours per week
