(3 credits) Introduces the basic concepts of general, organic, and biochemistry with emphasis on their applications to other disciplines. No previous chemistry background required.

Prerequisite(s): Competency in Math Essentials units 1-5 as demonstrated through the placement and diagnostic tests.
