Structural Firefighting (221-427-12) Career Studies Certificate


The Structural Firefighting Career Studies Certificate prepares students for Virginia Firefighter I-II certifications.  The curriculum addresses aspects of firefighting, fire protection, fire prevention, health, safety, rescue, and hazard mitigation as defined by the Virginia Department of Fire Programs curriculum for Firefighter I-II. 

This program is designed to prepare graduates for industry certification and immediate career mobility into entry-level municipal, industrial, private, federal, and Department of Defense careers.
